You can get all of the weather tight electrical connectors at Jegs or Summit.
Then you don't have splice on to the short leads.

ok just to give you some more info,,if theirs three wires coming out of the dist green is the trigger, black is ground and red is the power( you need to run 2 resistors on the red wire or you will burn our the electric eye... Max 8 volts to the wire, measure after you supply 12 v to resistors after about 5 minutes or so)

Also if your running the retard boxs you have to lock the Centrifugal advance to 0 of so it dont move..hope this helps..

unilite?

Mallory Unilite = getting towed home. Keep an extra unilite module in the toolbox... they burn out. I had one in my '71 Olds cutlass and after breaking down a few times, I went MSD.

MSD has a diagnostic service- you can send in the whole mess and they'll test it out for you for a small price. I did that with a shady looking MSD box that came with my used blower. It tested good and they sent it right back.

Yeppers, ran into thet problem myself then read the instructions:bonk: Two resisters and 13 years later i still have the same dist in my 72 monte carlo..
