just posting numbers for the hedgehog .... we put it in yesterday and ran 81 ... turning a 30 pitch maximus,5000 rpm , on an xr drive with a 2 inch imco shortie ... next is trying a 32 bravo ...the boat ran really nice and solid with the 5 blade ... probably have a few hundred pounds of extra junk in the cabin ... the motor is pretty mildly built as far as cam and heads ... and not too much boost either ... i think the dude that owns it is going to a smaller pulley and intercooler ...

The 2-inch shorty on this boat, does it help.? the boat have 2-steps like mine?

I don't know about FT's boat, but yes a 27ZX twin step likes a shorty.

I would think that even with a Shorty the centerline of the shaft would still be a good 5" below the hull. I am not sure why he would want a 5 blade prop with that. The hull runs just fine with a 4 blade

he got a really good deal on the prop ... it did ride real nice ... i think the 4 blade will be faster though ... 80 plus is plenty fast for that boat ...

he lost 5 mph going to the 32 bravo ... do you think a 1 inch spacer would be any better ? the drive is an xr with a 2 inch imco shortie .. thanks ..

Need more detail. Like RPM's etc

32 is a bunch of prop. I think that LRT spins a 30 and takes it to 85. I will dig around and check. He is out of pocket for a few days.
