1994 22 Classic

1994 22 Classic: White with yellow stripe and hull sides. Boat was purchased out of Florida in 2001, since then has been on a covered slip at fresh water Smith Mountain Lake, Va. Yellow was repainted (base coat clear coat) shortly after purchase, paint came from Donzi. New interior in late 2001, carpet added shortly thereafter, no issues. Current hull hours are 255, in 2003 at 216 hull hours engine was upgraded with a new Marine Power (http://www.marinepowerusa.com/x%20engine/x-motor.html) 500X- Exteme Motor, carbed GM 502ci / 502 hp engine. Engine was complete from carb to oil pan. I (Bob) was doing some consulting work at Marine Power and watched this engine being built, as a favor they painted it yellow to match the boat. The Mercruiser alum manifolds and stainless risers were used from original 454 engine. Bravo one drive with a SS 3 blade 25P prop, drive shower, single ram external steering. Top speed with full fuel and two over-the-hill, not so brave passengers is 74mph (handheld GPS), there is more there. A used switchable exhaust was purchased from a board member, the Y pipe was installed (and capped) during the engine swap, the rest was not installed. Modifying the stainless risers is required to install the system. New Mercruiser shifter and cable last season. For a 14 year old boat, cosmetically is an honest minimum 7.5 out of 10, mechanically is a 10 out of 10, you won't be disappointed. Boat is still winterized and will need a spring cleaning. A galvinized Continental double axel (NO brakes) trailer is included. This is a low hour boat from a three boat owner, selling only to make room for a new 27ZR. Price is $24000.

The 27ZR is here so the 22 is going on ebay this week, opening bid is $19950, no reserve. Boat has been de-winterized, I drove it to the public ramp to put it on the trailer, no problems at all. If you are looking for a clean well maintained boat this is it.
