Not sure you get anything but a steering wheel and furry seats for $30K or less, but I can't wait to run into one of these things on the road with my new Altima.

As soon as the initial rush is over I plan on going down and taking a test drive of one of these. The initial production version they had at Daytona for the Rolex looked very good and had a good feel in the drivers seat. One thing Holden has always had over the US GM group is interiors. The ill fated GTO did have a great interior, for a GM product.....

I work at the Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, GMC and Saab Dealership in Pensacola. We got two G8's yesterday. They are nice. The back seat is huge and comfortable. And yes, its fast.

Todd,

Just having a little fun with Buizilla who has predicted that I would have to go to a Nissan Altima as my "company" car shortly as I am preparing to move to Nashville and call on Nissan full time.

Below is the new "Altima" I picked up last week. I think the G8 is going to make a nice alternative choice to the SRT8 for a lot less $$$$. Good to see it. I just hope all of the new CAFE regs coming around the corner don't sink the resurgence of the RWD performance sedan...

Ad won't run for me???
Holy crap, did you look at the pictures of Nick Hogans totalled supra???? (http://www.autoblog.com/photos/police-pics-of-nick-hogans-totaled-supra/697399/)

Runs for me. You not missing anything, trust me, but then I drive a 10 year old S-10.

The supra is broken. Period. Even by Vermont standards. It is a credit to automotive engineering that anyone is around to tell about it...

Somebody go by Frank's place this weekend and see if he still has a pulse. It's been a long winter for everybody.

What we have here is the first rear wheel drive American sports sedan to be introduced since 2005. And at reasonable freight.

They could advertise it taking Little Becky Sue to pre-school
and as long as it had a burn-out like the one in the game ad, I would be a happy man.

You know, kind of like the Toyota dealerships you've been hanging around lately.

Your luck, when you post a picture of your new Tundra, there will be a Prius, or one of them hot new RAV4 mommy machines, sitting in the back ground. We'll be sure to point it out....

I do have to admit, driving the RAV4 rental in Miami, that Farmer Tex so proudly chose, threw the natives off. In my best latin accent..."Aggressive driving? From one of those things? I'm jay walking, pulling out in front of, cutting off, or insert you worst driving behavior here." That horn was the great equalizer baby, Meep Meep. They were terrorized!

Actually, he's got a colorado or some such variant now.. as usual, your typically spouting off, before you know the facts... that's Hugo's personal truck, not mine..
And before you start Buiz, yes, I am debating on whether or not I want to load a 12v71 power plant complete with radiator and fluids sitting on an 18" tall channel steel mounting frame on the back of my F350... don't lose any sleep, I've already allocated a REAL truck to do the job... :shark:  he'll be there on Monday..

I have read recently that the cafe gods may stop more Holden product from making it here. Hope not, because it is cool.

I like this one too, but just a concept now:

Nice :D

My Dad had 3 Ranchero's while I was growing up.
Late 60's sbf. Early 70's BBF that would light them up everywhere. Then a late 70's LTD version. 2 tone brown with the LTD "wood" paneling inserts.
If the earlier ones were pre hit Elvis, and young skinny gold suit Elvis, the last one was definetely fat Elvis. Ford and the Ranchero had jumped the shark by then.

Since this thread seems to be going a little sideways :D
Can I get some unbiased honest opinions on your thoughts about the Dodge Magnum.....

Some days I can't stand the look of them, then I'll see one done right, and I'll think it's exactly what I need.
