From what I've been told if you have the "peanut" heads (the small oval port heads with the small spark plugs) then there isn't much you can do since they won't flow much more regardless of the cam and intake.

My engine guy told me that unless I popped for new heads (he recommended the Edelbrock Marine heads as the best bang for the buck) anything I spent on cams would be a waste of money.

Also realize that anything much stronger than the stock cam will necessitate a change in exhaust to move the water injection point further away from the intake.

Sorry I'm not answering your immediate question, just passing along what I've learned.

This is just an idea but Big Green ZX and Last Real Texan just got done doing upgrades on a 502 mag and a 500 EFI. Both have the roller cam setups and heads that came off of their engines. I know that they both have the bigger rectangle port heads. I bet this would be just what you are looking for and not too much money and your engine would keep the drivability. Just an idea!

Like said before, you need heads first of all and this cam will make them sing. http://www.cranecams.com/index.php?show=browseParts&action=partSpec&partNumber=133802&lvl=2&prt=5

the 268H on a 112 LS is a custom order, the shelf grind is on a 110LS, so make sure you specify the 112 LS grind and degree it in at 112. They tend to grind their's with 4* advance ground in, so ask them again if this is the case. With oval or standard rect. heads they make very good torque.

I ran that cam in a Big Block mud race truck one time and it was great! It was a class that had to pull 12" of vacum and no roller cams. Like Buizzilla said it makes a ton of torque!

I have never tryed it in a boat so I am not sure what it would do in a boat!
