I removed the the old rub rail off my 1991 22 classic it had an aluminum backing and black insert I would like to replace with rigid vinyl and a stainless insert.

I have been told I can only buy a hundred feet or fifty I need 54 and the price was 549.00 for the backing and 660.00 for the stainless WTF is it going to cost me 1100.00 to replace a rail that is designed to be RUBBED

Check w/Surplus Unlimited in Daytona......if they have what you want, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Don't go by what's on their website, give'em a call. Google for their site.:smash:

Rubrail is suprising like that, pricing can be all over the place. It does have a tendancy though to look inexpensive until you start adding it up.. :)

Jamie is right again!!I just went through all of this myself. I have a 96 25 ZX and I changed my paint color. I had a white Taco rubrail with the stainless insert. I needed the black. I went throughWest Marine and it ended up taking 4 weeks and 800 bucks to get the same thing that I already had just in a different color!
