I am thinking of rewiring my Magnum. It is powered with SBC Chris Craft model 350 FLV. The original wiring harness model number is 06.00035. Does anyone have any idea if and where to find this or can the plug that is behind the dash be rebuilt with new wires?

Thanks

You can rebuild any of them. Better than any plug.

Don't despair!
You can get one of these;
http://bpi.ebasicpower.com/pc/MAR6199-02-06/MERINSTPAN/Engine+Wiring+Harness+For+Mercruiser%2C+Omc%2C%3Cb r%3EVolvo%2C+Crusader%2C+Pleasurecraft%2C+And+Othe rs.
It's basically a Merc universal V-8 wiring 6' long pigtail. Rewire your engine w/this.

Then buy one of these;
http://bpi.ebasicpower.com/pc/MAR6118-16/MERINSTPAN/Harness%2C+16%B4+Mercruiser%2C+OMC+with+Alarm
which is the corresponding plug and line to thed instrument panel. I would cut off the rectangular plug though and wire it up to some terminal strips.

And if you don't want to use terminal strips (although I don't know why anyone wouldn't....all REAL boats are done this way), you can buy one of these;
http://bpi.ebasicpower.com/pc/MAR6108/MERINSTPAN/Pigtail%2C+Instrument+Harness+3%B4
and rewire your instruments.

I've been looking for that part!

I've got a new dash coming from Nisonger in the next week or so and I don't know if he understood what plug I needed. I'm going to do the mount and wiring and I was going to reuse the harness off the boat since it's in good shape but getting a new one is always a better deal.

I'll post up a thread when I get the dash and as I'm doing the wiring so everyone can critique my work ;)
