The vendor didn't pull the ad, ebay removed it. There were obvious signs aside from the ridiculously low price. Hack to redirect questions to an off ebay email, Hack to redirect "view other auctions" to an off ebay email, Users previous sales were totally unrelated to marine items and high ticket items.

These are pretty easy to sniff out if you know what to look for.
