scam, i think it was in the mid 40's before. Generally, if there is an email listed in the auction a red flag should go up.

Since it's a no reserve auction, I think he's hoping for lots of bids. Theres 4 days left so the price will probably shoot up. The guys feedback looks good and he gives his phone number. It looks legit but you can never be too careful on ebay. I've had my share of bad experiences.

That is one heck of a deal!!! The "buy it now" looks at least 10,000 to cheap. Wish I had 15k laying around!!!

I don't see a "buy-it-now" option. It is not going to sell for less than 30 - 35K

However The ad is a scam

Try clicking on 'view sellers other items' that's an email now.

The "buy it now" was at 15,XXX don't remember the XXX's.
When it recieved a bit the buy it now disappeared, as usual, but I believe that something isn't right about it either.

It was on ebay about 2 months ago for a day or so then ebay pulled the ad I believe.

to be a scam to me, I remember seeing this on ebay awhile back also, last time it was someplace in texas now its in overland park, ks well the area code for overland park ks is 913, not 702 but Overland Park, Ks just happens to be just about 30 miles from where I live , so if someone is really interested I'd be happy to take a looksy for them just let me know, Steve

It's an obvious scam. The seller has somehow hacked the listing so it redirects to their email account for view other listings and ask seller a question.

Looking at the other things this seller has sold, things like baseball bats and other small goods it pretty obvious the account has been hijacked.

But hey, If I could buy that for $10K I'd be writing out the check as we speak.

Scam. Too many of the associated links/info doesn't fit. When you check the bid history it gives you a note that the item number appears to be "invalid."

I sent a note to their safeharbor section pointing out the hacks and the likelihood that is was a hijacked ID. 15 minutes later it was gone. Don't know whether it was my note or someone else's but it's "poofed".

Still fun to tease your inner child with the thought of a whippled 496 in a mint 22 for 15k.

the time a fellow MADCOW'er walked up to the SE at the docks, which I had just recently finished completely re-working, and told me he thought my boat could probably be bought for around $30K and seemed genuine about it. The boat was maybe two years old and I had just sunk $20K and a bunch of sweat into it. Not much to say to that other than "not in your life time".

Now, I am still thinking over MP's recent tender $20K offer. Big spender, that guy...

Get what you pay for pretty much...
