Volvo 290 trim??

Hi all
I blew a hydraulic trim cyl. ouch!
Just how bad is this to change?
On a Volvo 290 any one bin there don that?
Found a pair& install kit on ebay not cheep.
Can I just buy a seal and rebuild?
I should say It blew the shaft seal.
They are clean otherwise.
