I'm prolly not going very far out on a limb, but it's 2:20 Sunday and I'm sayin' it's gonna be...

...Pats and Packers.

Pats vs. Giants...I guess that's why they play the games!

I do feel bad for Favre, that was likely his last game, and it was a bad time for an OT interception.

I thought Eli Manning threw the ball well, considering the conditions. Plaxico Burress is an MSU kid, and Amani Toomer went to the other university in Michigan...so I guess I'm now pulling for the upset in the Super Bowl.

BTW; I believe Farve said he'll do another season. (to bad he's done this year though)

I'm glad the Pack is out, it's not like NY didn't try to give them the game and they lost anyway. I'd also like to see the Giants go all the way but won't bet on it - speaking of which - someone needs to set up the Superbowl in the casino section.:nilly:

My money is on the Dolphins... :nilly: :nilly:

Kind of why I'm hoping the Pats get beat...so that Kiick, Csonka, Griese, Warfield, Jake Scott, Garo Yepremian, et all can continue their immortality! (Although I think Yepremian is best known for another, less distinguished, memorable moment!)

Mercury Morris (http://www.barberusa.com/education/morris_mercury_bio.html) has had some ups and downs since '72...

Did any of you guys know that Earl Morrall (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1851130/bio) is from Muskegon, Michigan?

Here is a link to the '72 Dolphins roster. (http://www.phins.com/72phins/roster.html)

My favorite athletes in 1972 (while a senior at De La Salle Collegiate, in Detroit!) were Joe Namath and Muhammad Ali, with Mark Spitz up there too since I swam in high school. My favorite team was the Oakland A's.

Do the Pats get an "*" if they win?
I hate to see the record get broken, but especially by the Pats...

I'm with you on that. The Dolphins were special.

That sure is a good looking avatar...I think I woke up with her sister once back in the 70's. Never did mushrooms again...
