I'm jealous of all you guys getting new trucks. I picked up a '95 F-150 with all of the tow goodies and under 80,000 miles from the original owner 2 years ago. She rattled a little on start-up and lost oil pressure when hot so I tapped in a set of main and rod bearings from the bottom but now she rattles again:(. The crank must be shot. I think the guy towed the guts out of this truck and with the amount of rust underneath it just isn't worth putting more money into. I also don't like the way EFI engines rev on start-up before the oil circulates. The transmission is new and usually the 5.0 is good for a couple hundred thousand miles. Now I'm just hoping to get one more season out of it but with all my long tows to Oscoda I don't know:(. Anyway I hope to join you all with a new white F-150 in spring of 2009!:yippie:
I know , I know & I saw it too.. It's very nice... & Gun metal gray!..... I will let Scot spill the beans on the rest.. :D Too bad you dont have some snow to play with in that new toy down there.. :) Jamie

Its a 2003 H2 fully loaded. It has 115k miles so I got a smoking deal because I wore the guy out.
The inside is immaculate and its a blast to drive.
It also had all the maintenance records.
I posted a photo at the top of the therad.
Oh if you notice I also added A Donzi Sticker to the back:wink:

Looks like it's time for tires!!! The Nittos that are on it are worth 2-3 mpg more than that BFG Spare. The BFG's are good, But soft and have more rolling resistance.

Drove the Master Mobile Friday going to Lunch. I HAVE to admit I was impressed. It rides and handles very nice, and has a shopping list of bells and whistles.
Angel was impressed too......dam* it:smash:
..........and we thought it was a fancy Tahoe.
Still, I won't be trading in the Mega Cab any time soon:wink:

Atomic Tan yellow H2 quite a bit over the last year or so.
It is quite the beast and I am impressed with how solid it is after four years and what I think is about 70K-ish miles.
So maybe next time, with the new GM diesel, I'll have to take a closer look-see.
