This is a 1966 sweet 16 on ebay.

I guess I'll ask this question again, does anyone know whether or not this is truly a '66? It has no clamshell deck vents (only the louvered one) and an Eaton drive with the early 3-bolt pattern. Would this not be an early 1965?

I was just looking for some kind of donzi to put my stuff out of my ragazza that got smashed by the tree. I don't know anything about any Donzis that don't have a Z in their name. Sorry

Must be that the high bidder didn't have the $5K to fork over a couple weeks ago: http://cgi.ebay.com:80/ebaymotors/DONZI-SWEET-16_W0QQitemZ200181580553QQihZ010QQcategoryZ80652QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

High bidder on the ebay ad the 1st time said from Sweden and 0 feedback and signed up just in time to bid on this boat. Sometimes funny things going on from overseas bidders. Maybe not. Just noticed that. Tom

I hadn't noticed that. The winning bid of $5K was a bit higher than necessary to beat the previous bid of $99. I agree; it appears that something fishy was going on.

tha motor is pretty bad. the firing order is all rusty, that has to be original. and thats a 65 not 66 because it says "donzi marine" in the back.
