Ordered the engine for the Bronco. Going with a mild 351. For heads, just wondering if anyone prefers the GT-40's or the Edelbrock Performers. Both are about the same price. Engine should be in the 300+ hp range.

I have the edelbrock performers on the 302HO I put in my jeep. Great heads, no problems. I went with ARP head bolts to match.

Don't forget to seal the lower head bolt threads with RTV silicone since they go into the water jackets- I used assembly lube on 'em and they seaped anti-freeze until I took them out one a time and used RTV. No leaks now.

Look into AFR (Air flow research), they are supposed to be the best, but they might cost a lot more.
