Someone in the area should buy this and go pick up Scott's 28' Sportsman.

------While the thought is a good one, Scotts 28 has shafts and props and I dont think this trailer would work without mucho help. Also thinking that a 28 Sportsman might be a bit much in the weight department. That boat weighs as much or more than a lot of much newer 35s. Thats not a negative as weight as well as good design adds up to a great ride, but something that should be remembered........Bill S

The boat on the trailer was a 27 Magnum, the trailer will handle a boat a few feet larger. Would sell the Magnum hull/trailer for $6,000.

Now I'm confused. I have never bought a trailer alone, how are they classified? Is this a 28' trailer or trailer for a 28' boat? Would you want to put a 30' boat on a 28' trailer?

Also, please post pics of the magnum hull.
Thanks,
John

Cut,
It's really not that confusing, I have a boat trailer that will handle a boat 28' long and 7,500 lbs. asking 1,800.00
I also have a Magnum hull for sale 5,000.00
Buy both for 6,000.00

It's a Magnum sport (flat deck) with a "V" style fairing. There is a picture on the Screamandfly website on boats over 20'. I'll try and get pics up this week on this site.

I understand the offer, I just had the same question as Penbroke about the trailer. I'm interested to see the pics of the magnum, I'd say most people on this site love the 27'.
