Next Newby question. How do I determine when to repalce the tank on my 69' Sweet Sixteen? There aren't any signs of leakage yet, but is there a life expectancy?

When you smell it, (fumes) while parked in your shop, or when you want to pul the deck and redo the balsa or other such things.
RDS ( in FLA ) has the tanks. If you want to do a small group buy in the near future, ket me know. I am buying 2- 40 gallon ones (US Gallons)
You most probably want the 25 gallon one. These are the people I would go to... :)
Also if you keep getting junk in your water separator or fuel filter. In a 69 if the tank is original, you should keep you eyes on it. If it has been replaced already it is probably plastic or aluminum & should be fine. the original would most likley have been galvanized steel from what we have seen.. :)
If you should find it needs to be replaced we can do that for you & we are not that far away.. We have done many of these.. :)
