That 2nd one does looks great, looks restored. Wonder what it means can't complete? If it is the bottom touchup and the bit of fiberglass work, that doesn't sound too bad. That Boat is beautiful in the pics. Tom

they all look like good boats, we know what a 16 is all about we are more interested in the 22
The 22 is a good looking boat but speed is way over stated, 60 is possible 70 no way. The 350 Tempest engine which I had one is rated @300PSH, it would come close to 62 but never made it. My 383 the replacement engine makes a fair bit more power, its best is 65.5. Be that as it may a small block even a 383 is some nice in this gas market!

16, Did you buy the 22? if not do you have the phone # for it? It is no longer on the craigs list. Someone asked about it and I could not find it. It was on ebay also. Thanks, Tom 256-777-0844 or mishunaire@aol.com

Thanks, I was trying to find the ad from ebay or anywhere else. Had someone that wanted to see it. Wasn't it around 16500 buy it now on ebay? The ebay and the craigs list ad are both gone. Seems like I had seen it somewhere else. Surprised it was not on the registry listed under for sale before your post was posted. Thanks and any other info on it would be appreciated. Tom

No history but notice the plates on the stringers in the engine shot, that to me shows the stringers are shot and more then likely the transom is on its way out also. I had to replace the stringers and transom in my 86 22 when I bought it, I doubled the stringers aft and added a lot more beef then needed. Also note the exhaust tip height, it was equipped with the 300 Tempest engine with a 17" X dimension!

stringers in boat I replaced, put in spacers in the new stringers and had plates of aluminum fabricated, painted, and then bolted to the stringers to beef up the engine compartment. had transom checked everything A ok, boat when I purchased it had a small block 350, 260hp, replaced it with a vortec small block 350, 320hp
