Ring around the Exhaust Tip

Is there anything that can be done to help reduce or eliminate the 'ring around the exhaust tip' that happens when you run the boat?

I cropped this out of a pic from Catch 22 (I hope you don't mind). Mine look exactly the same as this after a run. My brother's 22 has straight tips, and he gets the same thing...

I'm tired of cleaning forever after running the boat. I currently have been using MAAS and Nevr Dull.

I use a little CLR and it takes it right off easily, works good for me. Steve

You could always use quick and quiet all the time. The other thing is a polimer coating like rainX.
