Mufflers?

I have just learned my folks lake has instituted new noise limitations.
Anyone have any ideas for an exterior bolt on muffler system with maximum effect. I don't want to cause problems when I am visiting?

You really need to find out what the restriction is first. Without that knowledge it's just a stab in the dark. no reason to waste money on something that won't meet the requirement.

Look into Gil slip ons the sound is good and you can have a conversation when cruising. I have a pair for my 22, which is a bugger to hear the person next to you at cruise without them, they are built like the Super Trap's you see on bikes. I have run them a fair amount of times when/where I needed them and could see no drop in performance, I run a SB so a BB may not breath as good. On long runs with just my sweetie I prefer no mufflers:shocking::pimp:
