22" with all the cup we could put in it.

Added a Hydromotive nosecone when I didn't know I didn't need it. Should have bought a prop from those folks. Replaced the Distributor, Carb with a 600CFM Holley, K&N Filter, No speed, but a wonderful improvement - Bilt-Rite interior.

With the right conditions the boat can run at 115mph for a few miles in a controllable manner. My Rolla 25" prop run's awesome. The top end speed is there... but the fun part is the acceleration. Cruising at 40-50 you hit the throttle and she slams you back into the seat and your at 100 in a couple of seconds :biggrin: ; with the 30" prop, she cruised well at 4000 rpm's 73-75 mph!!

i have a 18 with a 502 mated to a TR tranny....As long as you don't get on it hard while trying to get on plane you should be fine....My 18 runs about 75 MPH on GPS......That reading is on 93 octane and timing at 28 degrees.....i have run it on 104 octane and the timing at 32 degrees and have got a speed of 82 on Gps.....Go big blocks go!!!!

1973 X-18 with a 383Mag and Bravo I. Spinning a Mirage Plus 23" with 1.5 gears. 70.8 GPS All bone stock except for the Mayfair external steering. Around 5,000 rpm and not in a large body of water so I am not exact on the RPM. I think it is good for 1 more mph before I have to go with a shorty and cleaner exhaust.
