I just tried the link and it did not work, I then Googled it and found the link saying it was up and running but it still would not load. Hope the fire did not get to them!

My main office is in San Diego, it is a mess we build Cell sites and my guys
are all over the place with emergency generators and such there are several
Main interstates like I-15 and I-8 that are closed accept for emergency
equipment. Qual Com Stadium has 25-30.000 evacuies, its bad and the
winds will be up for at least another day. There will be alot of homes burned
and families displaced, but they are a very organized community and have
good emergency management plans. Prayers needed for sure.

He live approx 2hr from sandiago and he said that the smoke from the fires have mad it to sandimas..

he also said that ashes from the fires have traveled all that way..hw 15 and 215 are closed...

The folks here, with their Martin Mars WaterBombers, left this morning after the SoE was declared and are assiting where needed. (100 miles Northwest of me is Base) These are a busy aircraft in the summer HERE, and are dispatched all over the Province.

It is nice to see us lend a hand to you THERE...

Deneen's sister met a BO there
(read that "PERECT MAN", like those don't come around 24/7) a number of years ago and got married and now live in LA. They are NOT far away from this, the burn, but at least, are still able to stay cool and safe...

I believe most of San Diego propper is fine and not under threat. The closest fires are north and east of the bulk of the city. My girlfriend flew down to SD Tuesday morning for a week-long confrence and is staying down town. If they didn't put it in the paper, you'd never know there was a fire from where she is. (maybe some hazy/smoky weather, but that's it) I'm flying down to join her Friday afternoon and again, we don't expect any issues from the fires.
