This is a turn key boat and water ready. Very colorful boat. Boat is quick and fast, top speed around 70 mph, with a stepped hull, which will give you a quicker plane time out of the hole also with 4 blade 23 pitch props for an even better hole shot, and acceptional handling. For a twin engine boat is very fuel efficienct. You could easily pull a skier out of the water or pull tubes. Handles rough-water exceptionally well.
Has K-plane trim tab and trim tab indicators. Bravo I outdrives. Captain's call exhaust. Bilge blower. Bilge Pump. Electric mirrored hatch. Has an awesome stereo system, with cabin and helm controls. Gaffrig controls and guages. Cockpit carpet. LARGE sunpad w/ Donzi logo. Pop-up cleats. Has pump out head. Port and starboard batteries, with indivual switches, and auxiliary battery for stereo components. Boat only has 130 hours. Boat is 27'7" LOA and beam is 8'6" approx. dry weight is 6,500 lbs. Yacht Certified. THIS BOAT IS UNITED STATES COAST GUARD DOCUMENTED. Travel on any waters.

so this means that if a us official would need your boat in the area you live in they can take your boat and distroy it and give it back to you and say Thanks!!! which isnt covered under your insurance..Also thease boats from what ive heard dont have a title,if you want a title which requires you paying the the taxs of the boat from the purchase date when the boat was new..

Yes, they can but not very likely. Same league and paranoia as the black helicopters and spy planes flying over head for the new world order. Chances are pretty slim that this could happen and if it does, we got bigger things to worry about.

Yes, correct again, the coast guard documentation is all you need. Some states still require you to register and pay property taxes on documented boats, but if you or the original owner don't pay the sales tax on a documented boat, it is still due. The documentation has nothing to do with it...

Beyond that, many/most banks won't lend much over $100K without the boat being documented. Documentation supersedes state registration, and makes it easier for the bank to keep tabs on their 'investment'. I recall loosing a deal about 6 years ago - the guy was able to qualify for the loan (about $200K) but wasn't a US citizen and couldn't document the boat so the loan was a no-go. We ended up putting him in a smaller boat and getting him a loan around $125K.

As for the taxes - Oh, you will pay the taxes! Many times I've had people try to get out of their sales tax (technically, it's "use tax" here) by documenting the boat. Trust me, the state will still bill you; or worse yet, they'll bill me!

Technically, the state does give a certain window for payment of the taxes after the sale. I've had clients, for example, a guy who lived in Reno but kept his boat here in CA, who insisted they could avoid paying the state tax. We disagreed, but he was adamant. So we had him sign a form saying he would personally take care of any and all state taxes due on the sale of the vessel. About 6 months later we got a bill for the tax and in the end we had to sue him to reimburse us for the bill. The state didn't care that he had agreed to pay the tax directly (in writing). they'd rather just go after us since we're easier to find.

There is one way to avoid California's Use Tax. They call it off shore delivery. If you are a CA resident and buy a boat (or plane or big RV, etc) for use outside CA, then you aren't liable for the Use Tax in CA, but you would be liable for the tax wherever you had the boat. Typically for us, that means Mexico, where they don't have a similar tax. There are a number of legal points that have to be met, but the basics go like this: We formally hand over the vessel to the new owner outside California waters (past the international boundary). The owner can then bring the boat back to CA for a limited time for fitting out. Then the boat must leave CA and stay out for at least 90 days (this is why they call Ensenada the 'Ninety Day Yacht Club') While it's out of state, you need to show useage of the boat to demonstrate you did in fact buy it for use there and didn't just ship it there temporarily to avoid the tax. Later (maybe 6 mo to a year) they will send you a tax bill - that's when you claim the out of state delivery exemption and provide all your documentation. They know the loophole is there and the government is OK with it but they don't really like it so if you make even the smallest mistake in the paperwork they'll nail you for the tax. We typically hire an attorney who specializes in just that to make sure it all goes to plan. You do not want an 8.75% tax bill on a $3M boat...
