I hope someone in the Northeast chimes in if they've seen this one.

It's "DINO TUNED", and he has the "DINO SHEET to prove" not to mention the "HYDROLIC KEFERS for high speed stability". What's not to like? :bonk:

Looks clean though.

It doesn't even look like it has interior (front seats missing?)
It's missing a wheel on the trailer
The oil hasn't been changed since 2005?

I don't know, it just seems a bit off.

His feedback rating is pretty poor also.

FYI this was legit. Picked her up over the weekend and I'm so happy to have my first Donzi. :) This will be a looooong winter.

Congrats, it looks like you got a heck of a deal. I haven't seen a 22 sell for that low, and I've been looking constantly for the last couple of years.

Nice job! Have you hade a chance to run it? If the motor is in half decent shape you got a great deal!

Yeah, it was a little bit of a risk but I think I did ok. When talking to the previous owner it was obvious he put a lot of time, effort, and money into building this boat. The "real deal" header set-up ended up being a nice new unit from stainless marine.

I don't think I will get it in the water this year but the motor sounds strong! It truly was dyno tuned to just shy of 700HP. Plans right now are to spend the winter just cleaning it up since the gel coat is pretty faded and doing some of the regular maintenance items. Later I'll update the gauge section. I've been looking for a 22 for a few years now, can't believe I actually have one, let alone this monster.

Can anyone else say "external steering required?"

If anyone runs into one of $250 replacement windshields for a 22c,

please me know. Zero have been on Ebay this year.

Take the blower off, build the block into a nice NA 500ish HP and it will last forever and do 80mph, and of course hydraulic steering still.

Yeah, let me know when the windshield comes up on ebay too  Actually is it just the center section that is cracked, I will probably make my own replacement although I won't be able to replicate the "eyebrows".

No way I'm taking the blower off :hyper: As long as the engine is built for the blower (lower compression) which it was, there shouldn't be a problem. Plus its a boat, not my daily driver to work.

Did anyone else get negative feedback for janking on the seller's spelling?:bonk: Come on, he wasn't even close on some of the terms. :boggled: Too funny.

I'm glad the boat sold and I'm even more glad that the buyer is a member of the board. But, the ad was a little, let's say, entertaining?
Rich
P.S. I wouldn't worry about the negative feedback, I just received some for wanting to distance myself from someone who misspoke about Dustin Simon.:umbrella:

Yep, good point, welcome to the new board member! It's funny because it looks like the boat went to Toms River NJ which is where I bought my 22 Classic. I don't think I've ever left negative feedback for any except the SofaKing, lol.

I just looked and got dinged too... When I posted, the guy had not answered all the questions yet (about the trailer, etc.) and I barely said anything negative. :bonk:
