22' Donzi Anyone ever have one with an O/B

Does anyone have any performance #'s with a 22' donzi o/b. I have seen a few of them in the past. Has anyone ever converted an i/o to an o/b?

from where you hail I bet it is a challenger / shadow / superboat 21 legend that you have seen and they are a great hull ( always built on LI )race proven and can run fast with the right setup and handle rough very well it is probably the best 20 ish hull ever built they are high 70's low 80's mph boats without alot of skunkworks

Sweet lil 16, I have been on the hunt for a 21'sb for quite awhile now:boggled: I am starting to think that I will never find one in mint condition or one that needs restoration that the owner does not believe its a restore and their price should reflect it. From looking at 22' Donzi's, the owners seem to take much better care of them and the choices are greater. I just prefer an outboard boat to an i/o, hence this post.

the donzi might not be the fastest or the best riding altho they do both pretty well they do have that mystique about them that their owners know and respect so yes they are better cared for then most boats well a 22 ob is out of the question there was an 18 ob from the factory but the most OB were made in probably the 16 I am sure rigged correctly by someone who knows egg beaters could modify a 22 with a bracket with minimal glass work, i couldn't see cutting a tub into the 22

we are in the market for a 21 of those ilk also they do come up every once and a while at a fair price in good condition

We took the outdrives out of a magnum 27 sedan and put a bracket on it.It has about 3 inches of glass on the inside.
