Home and Dry, after a 7 hour trip. No issues on the road, but The Revenge and my right front tire were casualties from the weekend.

Tire - needs a new valve stem....no problem:wink: Mark thanks for the help in changing it.

Revenge....I am afraid to even think about it:confused:

Still another great rally. Truser will have some smokin shots

Thanks to everyone for giving me rides on Saturday...Renee could get a ride no problem.

Mike's 22 rocks with the small block

Andre's 28 ZX is like a fine wine.....smooth and satisfying

And The 18 Lady Scorpion is an absolute BLAST:eek!:....As Jill's First Victu...I mean passenger, we had a ball.

Great Friends, Great Weather, Great Boating, and some pretty decent grub...what more can you want:)

We made it. Pulled out of Bass Hollow at 10:00 am AZ time and got home at 2:00am. No issues and a nice drive home. From the 90 deg. PK weather to cold and damp hard frost conditions here in Flagstaff. Fall is here.

We had a great time and are looking forward to seeing you all again soon. I certainly hope Z-Man is feeling better.

I'll have pictures as soon as we get them off my wife's camera.

Just wanted to say Thanks again for the hospitality, We all had a great time! Sounds like everyone is back safe and not too worse for wear. I can't thank you all enough for making us feel welcome, Daria is convinced she needs an 18 classic to lead the way for the chaparral, and who am I to argue, just have to figure out which checkbook to use.

Talk to you all soon, and see you next year!

Scott,
I tried the full size files and it failed or timed out. And you still can only do ten at a time.

The resize program works better if you resize the whole folder at once. Select all pics and resize them all at once. The upload speed will also increase, less data. And guys like farmertex and yourself can see the pictures faster. I would also bet that when I was uploading 10 pics @ 4-5mb each the site itself would slow down.

You really have dialup at home? Run a wireless link from your office to your house.

Does the 800 size look the best?

The biggest problem I saw was trying to keep track of the picture numbers. Every time you hit the browse button you have to remember the last picture. Unless I add all 300 at 10 at a time would take forever.

Let me run a few more in and see how it goes..

Ok I added a bunch. Resize first is the only was to go.

That should be enough to get the rest of you out to this event next year.

We should be taking over that whole resort. All the cabins and all the rooms.

Kick out the Baja's out and kick thier buts on the water. Like Jill.....

Took me four years to get back and I don't really know why... We won't wait that long again.

My thoughts after 15 hours back to Kentucky and another 7 today from Kentucky to Michigan...

Jefe can cook up more great food on a ten inch charcoal grill than Emeril or Chef Paul with all of the tools available to them. Breakfast tacos, crab cakes, and crawdad etoufee just to name a few. Yummy. Of course, Renee keeps everything and everybody in line. You guys are great together.

Not everybody has a Criterion as a back up boat, but sometimes it comes in handy. Thanks for the ride Mark. Andre, ditto to you, the "couch/sofa"-like 28ZX ride was a compliment man. Great driving! And your assistant, Molly, sported the right bling in party cove to rightfully earn the title of Donzi Girl, not to mention serving a great cherry lemonade with a kick!

Jill drives the Scorpion better, when I get out of the boat. I am proud of how far she has come over the summer mastering this beast. The picture that Mike posted is one of the tame ones, but you get the idea. I really enjoyed hearing the rumbles amongst the Donzi Girls that they should have their own Donzis to run. Go for it! Jefe, she can't stop telling me how many times you said "speed this thing up" or "stay in it!" You the man.

A Scorpion 18 can blow away a Baja 29 twin, at least until the great Sea Ray equalizer wake comes along... Dang it!

Rick's SE is gorgeous and it is a whole family affair. Nice to meet you and the gang!

Mike and Matt need to attend every rally, so we can always enjoy the great photos they seem to get of the boats. Talent!

Bass Hollow, no cell service and all, is a great place. I forgot what day it was. The rooms are nice, the staff friendly, and the docks are new. Great casual place to have a rally and enjoy the company of old and new friends with some very cool boats.

See you all at Cumberland!

Thanks Todd. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease the week before this event. :( It's been a rough couple of weeks. We wanted to bring her along to help get her mind off the diagnosis and get her more active. Although the trip was a lot of work for her, and us, she seemed to have fun. She commented after we left "...that sure was a nice group of people." That's what I enjoy about getting together with you guys and gals; that comment is always true. Good friends coming together, over long distances, to have fun. Are there any other groups, auto or boat, that travels as much as we do and as far as we do to get together?

My kids have learned to "hang on". They we're having a blast in the back seat on the run back to Bass Hollow from Hell's Gate on Saturday. Sometimes the ride in a 22C can be better than a rollercoaster.

See you all at Cumberland!

I talked to my dad last night and told him we need to go to AOTH. He agreed and asked me to send him the dates as soon as I know them. I'm hoping we can be there next year with a 22SE or 33ZX or both or maybe his Black Raven.

Mike, as soon as my wife has stopped being PO'd at me I'll get the pictures out of her camera. At this point I'm not sure how many she has but there should be some good ones in there. PM me your address and I'll send them over along with the Powell 07' pictures. If anyone else wants our pic's, do the same and PM me your address.

Hey Mike, I didn't get nearly that many pic's and mine don't look as good since Rick can't seem to keep the boat steady at 60mph for me....:( Plus it doesn't help when I keep messing with my settings. I have hundreds of Kaelan skiing so that is cool.

What lenses do you prefer to use with your camera? The one I have is just a 75-300 but maybe I need to invest in a different one. I got really comfortable with my film camera and since x-mas I've been working with my digital SLR and it's taking some time playing around. Any advise would be great.

I did get the pic's off my camera and Rick has them in hand to post.

It was nice seeing you and Matt again. Hope to see ya all again some time.

Take Care, Patti

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who assisted me/us all weekend long. Thank you for everything from cooking to getting the boat loaded to the Mark/Polly/Donzi escort to the hospital. The good news is that I am finally on the mends after one additional ER visit on Tuesday. Thank you for all the phone calls and well wishes.

We had such a great time and look forward to next year's event minus some twists of this year.

I swung through yesterday to pick up the boat and the place didn't look quite right without the Donzi crew! If all goes well, we will see you at AOTH!

Thanks again!!!

Sorry for the long delay, my laptop bit it.
They do not quite no what went fully wrong yet. I'm still in the lab rat stage but hey, I'm getting better day by day.
You did a fine job loading the boat. Again, thank you!
