Is there anyone that carries gas tanks in stock for 18s
or do you have to have them custom fabed?

There is a company that has the dimensions. They are in Florida and the name is RDS or something like that. Do a search. If you can't find it let me know and I will dig up my notes.

I came very close to using them until one of the registry members hooked me up with one from a new wrecked boat.

This is who I used after researching this site. They were (and may still be) OEM for Donzi.

The attached drawing is for a 32 gallon tank which I feel is right for my application but you may want to go to a 40 depending on your situation.

I bought a tank from RDS made to my specs. It is absolutely perfect !
I dealt with Ray Veal, he was very helpful. You can't go wrong with these folks.

Florida marine Tanks also is OEM and has the original 23 gallon tanks for the early model 16 18 and are more economical than rds even on a custom job i think rootsy had one made for his boat

After seeing their facility first hand and buying couple of custom tanks from them for my Magnum, I have only high praises for Ray and gang at RDS in Perry, Florida.

do you want to keep the original size or are you up for a larger fuel tank?

I would like a larger tank, I dont have the deck off yet and the 18 is
a corsican so Im not sure if there is room for a larger tank but hopefully.

If you want to squeak about 35 gallons out of it and only move one bulkhead while retaining use of the center storage locker (does a corsican have a center storage locker?) you are welcome to the tank I designed for my 18. If you have no issues with moving the bulkhead way back you can probably just buy a new 18 40 gallon tank and pop in it.

same theory applies for the 16.
