There is a '85 22c on Ebay with a SBC.

The close up of the engine makes it look like there is no raw water pump.
That belt is missing. It appears there is only a circ pump.

Will this setup work ?

Also claiming 65mph with a 19P prop. That's over 6000 rpm !

The drive picture stinks, but it's most likely an Alpha 1. The pump is in the lower unit of the drive.

Oppps, I forgot that Alphas have the pump in the drive.

Too many speedies, TRS and bravo's in my past.

Looks like a nice boat, curious about the plates on the stringers that would need some checking out. It looks like it was originally a Tempest 300, no Y pipe and the X looks high like mine. Must have replaced the 300 with s stock 260, a 19 will only let it run upper 50's the Tempest would spin a 21 and run a little over 61.

Owner states "Wife hates it". Could be the pic on hatch cover? With a critical eye on the pulleys and belt setup. Will loose power steering and water pump if alt. belt mishap.:eek!: Not good. Did not see a stern light.
