Hi People.. I DO have a Donzi but I'm sort of toying with the idea of sort of maybe looking into this..

1st Question - Am I crazy?
2nd Question - How crazy?

See this link and tell me what cost approximately would I be in for INSTALLED with triple 496 HO's (or 502's) and Bravo 1x's.
Are we talking 40k or way more.. I live in Australia and our prices are so much more.. so if it went ahead it would all be done in California.
Nice boat hey? Supposedly built for Don Aronow.
Any links to the equivelent of Lakeside Restorations or other engine suppier in CA. I did look on Google but not alot came up and it's always good to have an inside recommendation.

I don't know what that is but I'm pretty sure it's NOT a Cig........

You'd have considerably more than 40g's invested in engines, and drives. Donzigo just put two new 496's and drives in his boat, and it was more than that.

BTW, I *think* this is the boat that Aronow built for watching boat races? anyone remember anything about it?

Is that a US Coast Guard Documentation number in the bilge?
Can you track a documented boat to find it's history?

Way, way, way more than 40 g. Do not buy it untill you research the cost of powering it.

Hey all.. Many thanks for the tips so far... I would cetainly NEVER buy a boat with no power without a firm idea of cost to get it moving (very fast) again.
Seems it's starting to head way out of my ballpark, but anyone with more specific detail re cost and size, length of job I'd appreciate your thoughts.. OR, anyone at for that matter who wants to add there 2 cents worth (as we say).
In the meantime, check out my boat after a gelcoat restoration this week.. I'm still in love with her anyway

You could pick up 3 496's for less than $25k. But to convert to Bravos could get pretty expensive.

Sh*t, sub, you'd be shelling out almost $40k per year IN FUEL!!!

Your anni 22' looks great, and that 2nd pic is top quality.

I don't see "Cig or Magnum" in that photo of the boat. I have no idea what it is either, sorry. And for 40K and three engine AND drives, it will be way more than that.

I would say about (GUESS) $80K US installed with steering and running. 3-496 MAGs with BRAVO X.

It is an "Aronow Powerboat". It's been debated whether or not this was even a true Aronow Company. $15,000 minimum bid sounds cheap but by the time you get it on the water you will have way too much into it. I'd keep looking. JMO
