I just picked up a 1987 Minx LE #18 of 25, 281 hrs all original. Nice clean Donzi. I have been reading up on your forums for the last few weeks. Hope to learn from the wealth of Donzi knowledge. Hope to post some photos later today.

It would be good to have a hull #.
See http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39260&highlight=minx+hull+numbers
As you can see, I have many of the LEs listed, but not by series #.

By the way, welcome. The Minx is a vastly underrated boat.

George,
Thanks for the welcome. I tried to register the hull #, but the registry is down for updating.

Post it here and I'll get it on the Minx list.

No I didn't. My computer crashed this weekend, and they were unable to retrieve a bit of data from my hard drive. I was wondering if it was close to mine.

I want to get new cockpit carpet. Do either of you guys have any recommendations or where to get it? I have been rubbing and buffing to remove some oxidation (the only negative to the boat). It is too hot and humid in NC. Detailing was not this much work when I was a teenager.

I had one custom made from Sunbrella. It cost right around $300 as I recall.

No, I just dropped it off at Florida Boat Tops in St Pete. They made a full cover and a cockpit cover at the same time.

Uh guys, I think he asked about "CARPET"...not "COVER"...
Try Biltrite, Bob makes great carpets for Minxs, with or without the cooler cutout.
Don't have a #.
