Bought my first Donzi in May and want to thank everyone for the great advice that this site offers. Have been searching around for the origins of this great boat, and have so far traced it to a post by TuxedoPk on 7/20/04. 1976 X-18, sbc/trs. Has what seems to be a bbc hatch scoop with large rectangular boxes above the risers...the motor was fitted with Glenwood Marine aluminum headers and risers. They give off a great sound in addition to looking cool.
If anyone has info on this boat, it would be much appreciated. Thanks again for all the help.

congrats on the boat
if you have alot of questions the best thing would be to bring the boat up to the Lake George Donzi clubs fall picnic the weekend after labor day someone up there will probably know that boat or can answer any question you have
from where you are it is a straight shot up 87 look in the event section it has the agenda for the weekend

yes, the club as a few members in your area, they don't come here though
there are a few classics that run on greenwood lake which I think is not to far from you and a few that run on the other side of the hudson from you

and a ton of people who travel from the ends of the earth to go up to lake george that pass right by you at the 287 87 merge in mahwah so just follow them up there ! pack a picnic basket load the boat and come have a great time
