i've heard that a four blade prop makes this particular boat go faster than the 3 blade, is this true?

Considering I sell the props and my son owns a 22ZX with big power now. Facy 4 blade is not faster then a 3 blade, but for what your looking for, a 4 blade, fusion or the nes 4 blade solas Lexor maybe the thing. Only way to find out is try them. Mark has only delt with bravos. Some like The mirage Plus.

Mr. X has it right, a 21 Mirage will do the trick.

Pulling tubes and speed --------- make up your mind -------- tough to get a prop to do both.

4 blade props for power and 3 for speed.

FYI - that boat only did about 50 MPH, when it was new.

You really need to know what your actual performance figures are before trying out any new props. If you have an aluminum prop on right now, then it has to go. Based on an assumed weight of 4000 lbs and 250 shaft hp, that boat should go around low to mid 50's. If you had enough power, you can prop for towing and speed, but with only 250 hp, you will probably have to choose which one you want.
