mercruiser gimbal grease fittings ???

Has anyone ever put grease fitting in the bushings in the gimbal housing ? It makes no sense besides mercruiser making replacement parts for you to purchase not to have them installed to properly maintain these rotating parts.

Mercury in its infinite wisdom to screw its customers started by first removing the steering pivot shaft fitting, which as we know has been a boon for dealers and the company. Then went on to strip all the fitting of the gimble with the exception of the gimble bearing, I guess that will be the next one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell the whole damn business might as well wear out real fast!!!!! The Beauty of having BLACK ON THE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!
