Looks like a good project for someone. Small block for economy and weight savings. Part of any good deal is knowing what it is that you want and meeting those needs.

Could turn out to be a decent deal for someone, the engine has been built it is not an original 300 Tempest. It should run a tick over 60 and yes it will run about 150 miles on a tank gas, I know I have the same basic setup except mine is a 383/Bravo I love its ride and handling.

If it's the boat I'm thinking of:

it's been for sale for quite some time... It's the kind of boat you can buy, get in, and use the heck out of. Good value I think, if you want a fun ride at a good price

Been for sale forever on BoatTrader asking $15.9k

Is it just me, or are a lot of Donzi "sellers" just way too proud of their boats? I know NADA isn't gospel, but their numbers don't come out of thin air (yeah yeah, Donzi's are low volume, private sales aren't reported, etc). But asking twice book value for a boat that clearly has worse than average "wear and tear", let alone the least amount of options (or missing parts even)...do they wonder why it won't sell?
Sorry for the hijack & rant. It's just my first time truly experiencing the "summer rush" of boat buying. A few more months and maybe some reality will set in...

like they say, "your boat is only worth what someone else is willing to spend"
....and if your not in any hurry to sell????
do any of you guys remember that custom job gt-21,(i think in marine city mi.)
listed for around 60 or 70 k? totally sweet boat!!!! but hard to take the price seriously. it was quite obvious he wanted to show off his boat, but not want to sell....(i would have listed it in the 100's)

if anyone remembers that boat, id love to see it again.

If you could buy the boat close to the opening price, I would think you got a very good deal. I allways thought a small block in a 22 would be pretty cool good on gas, and a weight savings. Don't know if alot of the guys here would agree though. Resale would not be as good as a big block.

Says "No reserve"

NADA-- Avg retail @ $7310.

That would be a good deal.
