Well gang, it has been 2 1/2 years and I still need to finish the dash, install the seats add nav lights and about 100 other things (down from 1,000,000) but her are some photos of my restoration with about 4 hours of grinning on her. I installed a new powerplant, a Volvo 5.7 OSXi with the XDP composite drive. I don't have a GPS on her yet, so I'm not totally sure of speeds, but she sure is fun, very solid riding, smooth and solid. I'll post more pics when she's finished.

THIS is what I like to see! Vintage hull, vintage looks, modern power and drive. I never heard of the volvo composite drive till now. Googled, interesting; are you also using the composite prop?

SWEET!!! I LIKE IT!!!

I'm with Rustnrot - I love to see a vintage hull with modern running gear.

I'm assuming you're keeping her in salt since you went with the composite drive. Since we quite selling anything with sterndrives before that unit came out, I'll be very interested to hear your experience with it as time goes by. Normally, I'd say salt and outdrives just don't mix but this thing is supposed to be built just for this sort of application.

In the mean time, how about some more pics and some performance numbers??

:biggrin.:
