offshore fishing will require a 60 - 70 mile trip ; inland cruising is plentiful but get charts to keep you out the shallows.
Delaware bay is just to the north , Chincoteague is just to the south. All in all it's a great area ........... ENJOY !

:wink:We had a house just up the road in South Bethany...I took the 22 Classic down a few times and never splashed it. There is plenty of area to boat... but you need to study the charts, alot of Shoals, Assawoman Bay is about 3' - 4' deep on average... the channels to the Ocean are swift water... so be careful....it's not a beginners area that's for sure.

I think its a gorgeous place... but it's big water too....unless the wind is calm... Indian River Inlet is one of the roughest on the Eastern Seaboard, its more like a Class 5 Rapids than an inlet... at the right tide!

Good Luck....Be Careful...
