I am powering the Bench seat X-18. I want Arneson and I know I need natural bow lift. I am sitting in the back seat already, and a little more weight surely won't hurt "I" am thinking. As well, I am running on Arneson Rocker plates so I have a bit of flexibility here.
Just curious as to the weight...

Lenny I am fairly sure both in stock Merc form is right at 200lbs, with the added weight you will need less rocker plate action. Best of luck with the project!!!

Lenny,
This link will give you the small block weights with different drives.
By linking through to the various drives, you can find out what those weight, as well. And a 496 will probably weigh about the same as a 454.
