Hi

I am replacing one of my gas tanks in my Magnum 27 Sport.

Do anyone of you know where to buy the foam that I need to fit a new gas tank ?
Any tricks when applying the foam ??

Seems hard to get in Sweden.

Ahhh the great debates of Donzi net days gone by ........ :D

tuna can vs brown paper bag
merc vs volvo
paint vs gel
left vs right
cable vs dial up
new school vs old school
tank mounts vs foam

silly rabbit foam is for lattes :D

Steffan do a quick search, you'll find a source for foam, or an alternative way to do it.
GCarter did it the foam way, but I believe he is up here in the Great White North right now.
Rootsy and Pearson are 2 of the names that come to mind that installed their tanks without foam.

I'll stay out of the debate but you should be able to get foam at www.BoatUS.com (800-937-2628) or www.BoatersWorld.com (800-826-BOAT). I wonder if there might be shippings problems though.

Also... Check out George Carters thread on his Minx restoration. He detailed the tank foaming process very well.

Steffan, no need to say sorry. The foam question was one of those "winter" topics that used to pop uo now and then. Sort of like asking a group of guys which beer is better, or who is a better player Alfredsson or Sundin ..... :D

Good luck
