blower/vent hose routing

I'm trying to clean up the engine compartment of my 22zx and I've got a few questions. The blower and hoses look like someone has been messing with them. I've got 4 vents, 4 hoses and 1 blower. The hoses seem to just be laying around wherever they fall. How are they supposed to be routed? Are they supposed to go the very bottom of the bilge? Does the blower push air out or pull it in? I'm a neat freak and want everything looking clean.

The way I understand it is;
just one hose at a low point in the bilge close to the starter - connected to the blower motor, which draws the fumes out to a vent facing aft.
the remaining vents feed / circulate fresh air, no hoses.

There should be one blower, and one hose. Mine is routed through the rear starboard vent. My Minx was routed the exact same way, so I'm pretty sure this is the standard factory set up.
