I am selling my classic, as I have bought a 26zx. It lists as follows:
454 mag (carbed), silent choice, bravo drive, white hull with blue stripe, two covers (mooring and cockpit), two sets of carpet( original gray and a matching blue), dual batteries, custom stereo, matching eagle trailer. This boat always ran flawlessly in the five years that i have owned it. I believe it was originally purchased by the owner of a car dealer, and sat on a covered hoist and was used very little. The hour meter shows only 300 hours!! I always stored the boat indoors and I would rate it a 9 out of 10. As you can see I am a newbie but I will try to post some pics this week. I am asking $25,000

Beautiful and very dependable package shirt. I believe priced right too for the items it comes with.

Someone up there in MI grab this boat up and bring her to Cumberland next May so I can walk around with my tongue dragging the docks. Wish I had the dollars to buy her. Good luck on the sale shirt!

My Brother-in-law called me friday after seeing this boat for sale on M-25 in Bay City. He said it was very sharp and I should head North to check her out. I wish I was in a better position to buy. This economy thing of ours in Michigan needs to shape up! I did have my Parents stop by and shoot some pics for me to drool on. :propeller:
It is pretty much the perfect boat for me. Maybe she will still be around when I'm ready.... :(:(:(

Hello Everyone!,
I am new to the Donzi registry and am happy to be here! Being from Fort Laud; I have had boats all my life. Being in love with the Donzi Classic is hard in South Florida as you have to tackle 12 to 15 FT waves in the inlets out to the ocean. You need the deeper drafts and the length to get out there in the ocean safely. But now we moved to Greenwood SC on a 20 mile long lake! So finally I am looking for the right Donzi Classic for my Wife and I! The thing is I seen the 1967 Sweet 16 W the Holman Moody 351 priced higher than some of the 1996 16' Classics. Sure I have seen the 22' 40th aniversary with the Whipple super charger pumping out some 650 HP. And I have seen the V-6 too; (out of the question!) As a car restorer, I have learned the V-6 engine can never idle right. It is the physics of the design. Anyway I have read to keep away from the Mrec Bravo one drive. Is this a few peoples opinion as so many of them were madeon so many boats! I have read to grab a 67 sweet 16 HM 351 Windsor if possible. Can some one tell me the "Do's and the Don'ts" of these awsome Donzi Classic machines? I figure a 16' with a 351 will probably hang with a 22' with a 454! What is the best "all around"classic to look for? Sure I am familiar with leaky fuel tanks and soft spots in decks.....bad gelcoat and can tell if a boat was taken care of or not. I will take ALL the advice I can get from you people who know! I never maintain the attitude I know everything! Volvo Penta? Sure.....why not? Or maybe stay the heck away! You tell me! Also, do ALL sweet 16's have the wrap around seat? One guy says his 16' classic is a Sweet 16 yet it has 2 front seat! Again..........I am all ears!
Thank you!:bonk:
