Left handed prop / Left control boat

I have a rt Mirage Plus 23" laying around. I was thinking that this would be a good place to start on the X-18. The boat is a left control. Does that mean that I need to be moving to a left control prop?

Sitting left obviously leans the boat that way. Spinning left, the prop as the blades enter the water create a "paddle wheel" effect whereas as they slap the water they in fact pick up the left side of the boat. (equal and opposite forces in both directions)
