Gun guys need help on what the net worth

My father passed away last year and i need on how much thease guns are worth,i have a idea but just need a honest price list so my greedy sister dont get away with being one up on me..thanx guys,,none of the guns are forsale though! heres the list as follows..

1, rugar super blackhawk .44 mag revolver

1, s&w state trooper special .357 mag revolver

2, s&w pearl handle .38 one serial # apart new in boxs revolver's

1, s&w .32 4'' barrel revolver

1, s&w .32 2'' barrel (snub nose) revolver

1, german walther ppk .22 auto

1, high standard nickel .22 9 shot revolver

1, high standard .22 auto target pistol

1, rugar .22 mag 6'' barrel revolver

1, italian .23 cal pistol?

1,pearl handal .38 special

i know all the hand guns were bought in the 60's and early 70's

1, high standard 12g pump shot gun

1,springfirld 30.06 with scope

1, 30.30 winchester bicentinal 1776/1976 octigon barrel new in box

1, john wayne 30.30 winchester rifel

1, rugar .22 pump rifel,,i know my dads first rifel he bought when he was 18 yrs old so i know this rifel is mint and 50 + yrs old.

1, stevenson 12 g double barrel full chokes

1, remington .410 shotgun.

1, savage ,440 mag double barrel elephant rifel

As you know condition is everything. Fair, Good, Fine, Very Fine, NIB

Unfortunatly, only five guns pop out as having collector status.


These would be the:

S&W NIB serial pearl handled .38 pair.
german walther ppk .22 auto. Need more info on this one.
1, remington .410 shotgun. (410s are collectable)
1, savage ,440 mag double barrel elephant rifle.

Can't give any values without condition info.

I'm guessing you are trying to establish prices to buy out her interest?

I've found lately that prices listed in "Gun Digest - Modern Gun Values" are higher than the
real market now.....

All guns are in mint condition and were cleaned just for ****s and grinns and oiled every few months..

Eventhough there may only be a few @ collector status, overall there is a decent ammount there. Good luck to you Mike, I went thru almost the same thing not long ago with the Guns I inherited from my uncle's estate.. Jamie

go visit the smith and wesson forum... they are fanatical about old S&W's...

the BEST bet for you to valuate those firearms individually is with a gun digest and a fair and honest assessment with condition.

the springfield '06... is that a 1903? original or has it been sporterized?

I traded in a NM Blackhawk Bisley, 45 Colt this spring... they gave me something like $275 for it.. A Super Blackhawk would likely be worth a bit more.
