 Gentlemen, please don't laugh !!! Yesterday I lost the seat cushion covering the battery compartment on my '97 sweet 16 !!!!! IT flew right out of the boat and I never saw it go !!!! Searched for hours but never found it !!! I know the boat is fast , but ?????????
-----can anyone tell me where to find a replacement cushion ??? Bilt Rite in Fla. shows no ph listing. --- the seating arrangement is the 4+1 type. -- 3 of the snaps were torn off the seat when it "took off" !!! Can anyone help with an upholstery mfgr. who already has the patterns ???? signed: "Sore Butts" in Ohio . Please---this is for real and any help appreciated !! - Bob

Don't feel bad, mine has blown out many times, it's not uncommon. Look up "knots2u" on this board, he may be able to help.

Bilt-Rite Upholstery Roanoke VA 540-981-1711, this number is from a post in 2005, hopefully it will work for you.

At this time he is only doing carpets; but maybe he knows of a good upholstery shop that he can reccomend.

You might try Premier Performance Interiors in Sarasota. They are supplying the new Donzis upholstery. I bought four bucket seats from them a while back.

Just a few days ago I rescued a rear cushion from a 18C. It seems to be a common problem. Good luck finding a replacement.:starfish:

On previous threads about this topic, this company was mentioned.

www.boatclinic.com I would give them a shout.

Bob does not do interiors any longer.

Check with "Smoothie" here on the site. He has had very good luck with a guy in Ohio.

I feel for you 8-ball. I've lost the rear cushion, several life jackets, towels, etc. In the 16, if it's not bolted down, anything over 50mph and it's as good as gone.

Premier Performance Interiors 914-752-6271, they should have the correct pattern for your rear seat. They do the best job of imitating Bilt-Rite interiors! :)

Good luck,
Bob

Sir, how did you get your seat replaced ? -- Thanx, 8-ballMine wasn't a 'real' Donzi so the interior was different. But to answer your question, I do upholstery work.......or use to......well still do.....sometimes......but only if I have to.

Premier Performance looks like the place to go.
