After years of boating the great lakes with outboards, i have decided to look for the boat i've always wanted...a donzi sweet 16. Being new to this I was wondering if someone could tell me what to look for in terms of drive trains and years to avoid. I was thinking a 4.3 liter would be the right fit now that fuel is so high but someone suggested to me it would'nt be nearly as much fun as a V8. I also have heard fuel tanks can be a problem. I wouldn't even mind something that is sold, but might need a little work. Thanks in advance for any advice. Great forum, by the way.
