I got the 1971 GT 21 going. I wanted to show some pics and thank some folks.
First, thanks to all of you on this board who have helped with advice, measurements, photos, etc.! Special thanks to Jamie from Lakeside for helping me with a prop that I ended up not needing.
Second, Don Racine of Racine Designs, www.boatclinic.net, did a fantastic job on the interior. Using photos I got from the web, patterns I made and one bucket seat, he fabricated the interior and it is perfect. It fits perfrctly too.
Last, my chrome guy Don Burch of www.polishedtreasures.com did all the chrome including the morse control. Beautiful work!
My wife and I will be enjoying the boat in the upper Chesapeake bay this summer. Hope to see some of you out there!

Thanks for all the nice comments. Here is some more information

The windshield was on the boat when I acquired her. I believe it has been shortened or "chopped".

The paint is BC / CC automotive. Seems very tough and is holding up great. Hull is original gel.

The motor was rebuilt 350 hours ago and is a 351 windsor Ford, Holman Moody. Rebuilt the holley carb as it was dumping fuel. Installed a crankshaft mount johnson raw water pump. Added a spin on fuel filter. Other than that, the motor runs fine so no work needed. I would like to pull the motor this winter and detail/paint it and paint the engine room.

Performance - new volvo aluminum LH 21 pitch prop runs 48 MPH at 4,600 RPM. It is a heavy boat! She likes to cruise at 3,400 RPM, very smooth.

Not sure if I can make Lake George this fall due to work and my wife just started a new job, but maybe in the spring. I used to do island campaing out of Bolton Landing in my 20s and actually fell in love with the donzi's there!

I see a few Donzis on the Chesapeake bay, we are on the Sassafras, wave us down and stop for a martini:beer:
