would anyone know where I might find the hood for a shelby edition 22?
aside from the factory

or maybe a replica that I could have fiberglassed into my hood?

or even the stainless inserts that i could have installed to a custom hood

"What's the Scoop, George?".
I was looking for a good replacement low profile scoop for my Chris Craft XK18 project. I just got this one in. Looks virtually identical to original, somebody long ago cut the original out.
It was on ebay recently but not anymore now is sold direct. Go to http://www.importzx.com/index.html It is not on his website anymore as he said he is redoing the mold but it looks fine for me as I still gotta lotta glassing to do. It was $55 delivered (I paid $5 extra for the perfect hole he cut in it). I guess just ask for the same scoop as tom lang aka rustnrot got if you want one. I received it in the last week.

There are a ton of different scoops on ebay and I almost got the one similar to the one George has and was going to cut it down, way down till I found this one.
Yes, that is a Toyota 4.0L 300 hp ski boat engine under the hatch and boat is also getting a Pulse Drive surface drive.

I designed this hood about three years ago.
It was an expensive little endeavor.
I have not had the time to finish the chrome grills fo the opening.
That will be a winter project this year.

Thanks for asking, but we are in Heavenly Valley and the fire did not come close to our home.
They staged the firefighting operations from Heavenly.

A nightmare for many families.:(
