A friend of mine has offered me his 1968 Donzi 16. It has been repainted at some point and needs interior and engine work. The hull itself seems to be in decent shape. Is something like this worth saving and putting the effort into repairs. I am familiar with fishing boats but the Donzi style is something new to me.
Thanks for any suggestions you have to offer.

I am a relative newbie here but I am sure, YES, you should hang onto it and restore it. What I am learning is the old Donzis are akin to a 1970 GTO Judge. Not many were made, and they are rare as hens teeth.
