Yesterday I took my newly acquired Century MKII for her maiden voyage and while I was waiting for my guests to arrive, I had a half hour to watch some very interesting "talent" at the boat ramp. After seeing this performance, I am amazed that there aren't any boat launching schools. :propeller:

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of the winner from yesterday. I'm glad I had my camera with me. This dude firstly, sat at the top of the ramp for over a half hour, monkeying with something in the bilge, draining water out, etc. tying up one lane of the 2 lane ramp. Lot's of guys thrilled with that. Then he started down the ramp, with his buddy guiding him all the way down.....right into the dock, wedging the port side hull onto the ramp, and getting the trailer stuck under the dock. he he.. Oh man...this is going to be good. Then they tried to pull it out and that's when the hull rolled right, while others were shouting directions and trying to stay out of his way. I was safely out of the way, on the water on the other dock.

Holy cow. Have a look and let's hear your boat launch stories.

Cheers
Paul

If he'd done that here, with the water down 2 1/2', he would have had the boat stuck UNDER the dock!!!:eek!::eek!:

Paul, ramp threads come up fairly frequently. Click here (http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=48557) for the last one:).
