Haven't had much action on my 1990 22 Classic that's for sale on this site. Very clean boat, several members have seen boat at Victory Marine including Scott. It's a honest 8.5. I replaced shift cable & that took care of shifting problem, the casing on the cable at lower unit was separated. Hull, deck & interior is very clean. I bought boat last Sept. 06 from the Original owner from S. Carolina, 100% fresh water boat.

Victory Marine added Silent Choice exhaust, new starter & repaired bottom of skeg on lower unit, did a compression test that cam out perfect & changed all fluids & filters in April 2007. While in shop had boat wet sanded, waxed & repaired minor gel on keel & bow. It came out great.

Motor has aggressive cam, sounds awesome. RPM max in between 5200 & 5400. King cobra lower unit was completely rebuilt in 2005 (Insurance deal $9900.00- have all receipts) & new trim valve body, cylinders & hoses.

Painted Donzi custom trailer, it's original, faded, but no rust.

Hey guys, Any ideas on where I need to price to sell this boat. I bought in for $17900.00 Sept. 06 & have put $4700.00 back in it in the last year.
I'm going to list on offshoreonly classifieds.com too.

Any comments or ideas would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Bvinc

With the vast experience & knowledge from the people on this site, I was hoping for a little insite on pricing. I know it's a hot topic, to price someone elses boat, but I'm just looking for some honest comments & direction.

Everybody seems to have an opion on most items. Please send me your's on this subject. Hey I might not like it, but I have to respect everyones opion.

Thanks,

I think that these boats are a niche market and the main battle is to find someone interested in your boat. One just went up locally for sale. It's a '87 22 for 15,500 and sounds real clean. I think yours should bring around 20,000. Maybe you could put something like $22,000 or best offer. Or maybe you could just say "price negotiable". Good luck with the sale.

I have it priced @ $19950.00 OBO & was thinking about dropping it down 1000.00. I know this is the selling season & I need to move boat to redo my slips for new boat. (1990 Cigarette 31' Bullet completely restored hull, engines, outdrive & interior like new)
I also have a floating air-dock that I bought from another member here that works great. It's very easy to assemble & pull in & out of water. I bought it for $600.00 & paid 255.00 to ship it to me.

Lake Conroe, Texas - 50 miles north of Houston.

I'd also suggest advertising more. I'd stick with the 19,900 or best offer as that doesn't leave you a lot of bargaining room. Put it on Donzi.org and fastdonzi.com and in your local paper and boattrader. Bump your ad to the top here once in a while with updates.

I bought mine on ebay. I didn't win the auction- I don' t think many do- but it did get the nationwide exposure. I called the guy and talked out a deal- but nothing final until I saw the boat in person. Paid $18,500 for an '88 with a '96 power package (454 mag/bravo 1), '03 interior, and old nasty trailer. It's a great boat. You just need to advertise. Remember, most people here already have a boat. Also try your local boat trader.

Ok, It looks like I'll just sit & wait & advertise on a few web sites

Thanks again
