.....since I visited these boards, and wow, have things stepped up around here! Very impressive.
Some of you old timers might remember me from a few years back, when I lived up in the Les Cheneaux Islands in Northern MI. I used to have an 18 Classic with a 5.0.....loved the boat, hated the engine!
Long story short, after some major life and career changes, I'm now down at Lake Norman in North Carolina. Came down here to take over the District Sale Manager position for Evinrude Outboards. Beautiful area, and I've seen several Donzi's out on the lake. Ran into Tom Riggle here last Sept at our local classic boat show, it was a pleasant surprise!
I'll be in the market for an 18 or 22 this winter. Like to find something gently used, in need of repowering. Not much on glass work, but I'd love to build a hot rod engine at least one more time.
