Today's forecast for Lake Huron: "Partly to mostly sunny today. Winds north at 5-10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less. Visibility clear to the horizon. Mostly sunny tomorrow. Winds 4-8 knots." Yeah right, I've heard that before! :rlol: Nonetheless I'm on my way to northern Michigan to dunk the boat in the big puddle today and tomorrow. :hyper: See y'all in a couple days. have to admit, it has been ideal weather for boating lately and is supposed to continue the rest of the week.:boat:

Just got home, all went well but I'm really tired. It's very humbling and scary being on Lake Huron and I'm still scared to go out of sight of shore even though I have gps and vhf. Hats off to you folks who venture into the ocean in small craft. The only company I had were the two "boats" pictured below! They were about 5 miles off shore.
